Roads like ice rinks in subtropical KZN

An ER24 ambulance slid down an embankment on the way to help.
A bakkie turned turtle on the Umbumbulu road after sleet
turned the normally subtropical area into a winterwonderland.
Two men died in the crash.
When hail comes down like pigeon eggs, a wise driver pulls over far, far away from the road's shoulder. For down south in Africa, we go eish for ice, but on our tar we don't make nice.
These scenes were taken by paramedics responding to crashes, after they also crashed, despite all their lights a flashin'.
