Radio Overberg précis

You are looking at the future, this being one of two cars printed
in 3D in January.
The first of the weekly ramblings on Radio Overberg regarding anything that has wheels covered:
South Africa's -- and indeed the world's first 3D printed lawnmower and the 3D printing zeitgeist that saw a printed Shelbey Cobra unveiled and 3D buggy printed at the Detroit Auto Show.
We talked how creating unique, bespoke cars will become the norm in a generation and while on unique, we described the "foam car", the one-seater Spiras4You, which were on a slow boat from China to the USA at the time of the talk.
The host Gideon Jouberg questioned my reliability as a prophet on the future on cars, considering I wrongly predicted roughly R14/litre of fuel, and I ruefully admitted I am in good company of all the experts who did not see the drop in Brent Oil coming.
I explained while shale oil helped, it was all still a big political middle finger at OPEC, as there is no shortage of oil, we just don't have the methods yet to get into the new deep wells, and the price will yet see-saw again.
