Bergville-based Bencor Boerdery transport company on Monday
rewarded the group’s three top drivers each with a brand-new ‘luxury office’ in
the form of a Mercedes-Benz Actros truck.
In third place was Zwelithini Dladla (left) in second place Joseph
Hlongwane (centre) and in first place was Nkosinathi Nhlapo (right). They were
the top three earners in Bencor’s fleet of trucks in 2013. Nhlapo is the winner
for the third year running.
Bencor had been buying their trucks from Garden City Commercials since 1989, where sales executive Dave Walker said Bencor effectively used Mercedes-Benz’s CharterWay service leasing and FleetBoard telematics to drive down the total cost of ownership of each truck.
Garden City Commercials sales manager Naudé Terblanche said Bencor was the kind of client that did the trucking industry proud.
