Karting returns to iDube

Bambino racers (from left) Kai van Rensburg, Ryan Kariem, Rhoderick Simpson (and his lil bro), neither of whom pull any punches on the track.

THE 2020 South African Rotax Max Challenge finally gets underway with four races in the opening round of the National Championship at iDube near Pietermaritzburg in KwaZulu-Natal on Sunday.

The karters will give no inch, as they are all racing for 2020 national championship titles and the right to represent South Africa at the delayed “Olympics of Karting” — the Rotax Max Grand Finals at Portimao in Portugal on January 29.

Spectators are not allowed, but fans can follow the action via live streaming on www.kart.co.za.
