Who... me, occifer?

If you are into contesting traffic tickets, and if you are into trucking you should be, you only have until 15 May to finish you comments on the 2011 Draft Regulations to the Road Traffic Offences Act and submit these by the 16th.
The Minister of Transport gave notice on 15 April of his intention to make Regulations in terms of the Administrative Adjudication of Road Traffic Offence Act, 1988.
He invited all interested parties to submit written comments on the 222 pages of regulations to the Director-General: Department of Transport.

The Regulations comprise 7 chapters, of which 3 and 6 are of particular interest to the fleet manager:
• 1 – Definitions,
• 2 – Adjudication Procedure,
• 3 – Penalties, Discount and Fees,
• 4 – Manner of Payment,
• 5 – Record Keeping,
• 6 – Service of Process, and
• 7 – General.
