Value boost for outgoing Micra

The last of the cuddly Micras.
Nissan gave the cuddly fourth generation Micra a value boost ahead of the sleek fith generation’s arrival next year (inset).
The current model is still one of last year’s cheapest super minis in the Kinsey parts basket and now has a six-year/150 000 km warranty and three-year/90 000 km service plan, topping Hyuindai’s warranty by a year.
The value boost adds a redesigned nose and interior improvements, including a refreshed instrument panel, Bluetooth-enabled audio and much more.
While not the cheapest little hatch at its list price of R159 900, it competes on low running costs,
good fuel efficiency and the competitively-priced parts basket.
A wide range of accessories have also been added to personalise the Micra with parts that won’t dent the warranty.
The new Micro is all edgy.
