ChopE supports my prophecE

I am the bloke who said the future -- meaning 2025 -- will see many more bespoke or unique vehicles as our sensible children say no thanks to the cookie-cutter cars that manufacturers channel-stuff down our throats to qualify for huge tax rebates.
The Estonian e-scooter is another blib on my prophetic radar that supports this prediction for a prediliction for a unique set of wheels.
A group of Estonians designed this laid-back electric scooter and the first one has now clocked over 1 600 kilometres. Top speed is a very laid back 35 km/h, although its makers say the 1 kW Golden Motors from China can be adjusted for your specific need for speed. The motor is in the 20-inch front wheel, with a 20-Ah, 48-volt battery pack above the fat, 18-inch rear Pirelli Diablo tyre giving a range of just over 50 km.
A pledge of $6 000 (over R68k) will get you a Chop-E delivered sometime in August.
