BRANDON Good (19) rode the fastest time overall in the SuperGP hosted in Durban on the weekend. He was followed on the clock by Lance Isaacs (35) and Dylan White (22).
Despite the lack of grandstands, Sunday gave the punters a lot of thrills, with Clint Seller (26) defending his status as the man to beat in the second race.

Seller posted a time of 27:39,504 around the new track, followed keen teen Kawasaki rider Goode, (27:41,927) and veteran BMW rider Isaacs third (27:46,267).
Seller entered the first Supa GP in KZN in a quarter century with a healthy 27-point lead over Brent Harran.
Isaacs had high hopes for another upset after he passed Seller in a race that had the Buffalo City on their feet.
Thousands of fans attended the GP, and on Facebook Steven Berry summed up the reactions to this historic race with his post: “Well done on bringing Racing to KZN, organisation was good especially since there wasn’t a track there a month ago. Only let down was the lack of any grandstands … Viewing was a case of trying to see over the people at the front, but once that is sorted [next time?] it will be a top event!”
Super 600
In the second race for the Super 600 race, Kawazaki rider Matthew Scholtz (21) beat the 16-year-old Blaze Baker and Steven Odendaal, (21) who came to Durban with six wins from eight starts.
One of the fans posted the tumble Anthony Shelley’s took in the first corner of the first lap of the Super 600 race on Sunday. Scholtz will feel very happy with his time around the old airport track, which was four seconds ahead of Baker in the final race and a second faster than the field during lap times.
Nicole van Aswegen finished 11th, after posting lap times only 2,4 seconds off Schotlz’s pace. Previous winner, Kawasaki rider Anthony Shelley (18) took it easy in eThekwini with a 13th place, while reigning Supersport champion Cameron Petersen (20) did not finish in his Yamaha. This DNF will be a blow to the champ who had hoped to add a rich points haul after two earlier DNFs in round four.
Super M
Chris Leeson (24) never broke a sweat in Durban to beat the pack in second Super M race, with a lap time almost two seconds faster than the rest. Leeson led Darien Kayeser (19) and Kyle Robinson (38) to a win. Leeson was SA Supersport champion in 2007 and runner-up to Clint Seller in last year’s Superbike championship on a factory BMW HP4.
He was one of two high-profile, first-time entries at Durban in the SuperM, with Sheridan Morais (29) the second rider that caught a lot of the cameras’ flashes. Morais was SA Superbike champion in 2005, 2008 and 2009 and Supersport champion in 2009 and is currently contesting the FIM Superbike World Championship on a privateer Iron Brain Grellini Kawasaki ZX-10R Evo.
Gentleman racer Beau Levey (32) did not finish.
